I recently stumbled upon a Society of St. Vincent Paul thrift store and came away with some great bargains on baby clothes.

On the clearance table at the back of the store I found three pairs of pants, a pair of shorts, a pair of swim trunks, and a jacket for 50¢ each.  One of the pants is the exact same pair I’ve been in love with for their perfect fit on my son now, but in the next size up (the highlight of the trip for me).  Before I made it to the register, I stopped at a sale rack for one “splurge,” an adorable pair of Stanley Tools jeans for $1.

When all was said and done I got the four pairs of pants, two pairs of shorts and jacket pictured here for $4.00!  Thrift stores can be hit-and-miss, but if you take a quick peek when you’re in the neighborhood, you might find some great deals.
