March 18 in Berkeley, CA: Baby/Kids/Maternity Stuff Swap

Posted on March 9, 2012

As you may have noticed from my blog, I’m in love with swapping!  It’s the most economical and environmentally friendly way to clothe your kid as well as get and give gear (depending on the swap).  KinderCycle, my favorite place to swap where I live, is having their next swap and I can’t wait to clear up some space in my house and replace some of the clothes that my son just keeps growing out of!  I’m also going to switch out some of the toys he has outgrown for some that are a little more age appropriate since he continues to amaze us with the new skills he picks up every day.

Swap Details:

When: Sunday March 18th, 2012, 3pm – 5pm

Where: South Berkeley Senior Center, 2939 Ellis Street (at Ashby); Berkeley, CA

Ages: Newborn – 6 year olds and maternity clothes

Cost: $5 per family with stuff to swap, $10 per family without stuff to swap

Contact: jennifer@KinderCycle.org

KinderCycle is on a mission to help families effectively get and get rid of kids’ stuff and to keep kids’ stuff out of landfills. Any items that are brought to the swap that are not taken by other families will be donated to charities.
