An umbrella stroller is lightweight and compact compared to a full size, jogger, or travel system stroller. Umbrella strollers vary widely, from weighing less than ten pounds and consisting of a basic set of wheels, frame, hammock-like seat, harness, and footrest, to including features like a padded and/or reclining seat, extendable leg rest, sunshade, storage basket, rain cover, adjustable height handles, breaks, lockable front swivel wheels, front and rear wheel suspension, and so on. Some umbrella strollers have adaptors to accommodate an infant car seat, but most do not.
