A diaper system cover is made to be used with a diaper insert, diaper liner or soaker pad (three names for approximately the same thing), and can also be used with a cloth diaper. Diaper inserts come in reusable fabric, compostable and throwaway versions. The diaper system cover usually has some kind of pocket(s) or snaps to keep the diaper insert in place. The cover also provides a waterproof barrier around the insert.
