Jan. 22 in Berkeley, CA: Baby and Kid’s Clothing and Stuff Swap

Posted on January 3, 2012

Do you have kids’ stuff your family is done with? Do you want to get new-to-you kids’ stuff?  Come to the next KinderCycle swap! Get rid of what you are done with and take what you want! (see details below)

My favorite find among my bag of goodies from KinderCycle’s last swap:

An Oakland A’s Romper.  The tag says 6-9 months, but it looked like it would fit my one year-old son.  I shared my find with KinderCycle’s founder and another swapper on my way out the door and they pointed out that if I cut off the snaps at the bottom of the romper, it will make a shirt that will be more like a 2T.  It has a few spots on the back side, but I don’t mind a stain now and then and those spots will be cut off when I transform it into a shirt (and they’ll keep me from feeling guilty for cutting an otherwise perfect garment).  I looked up the romper online and it sells new for $30 (including shipping).  I definitely got my $5 worth!
