Thank you so much for wanting to be part of the preparations for this very loved baby! We are so excited, and we’re glad you are too! Please, please, please, don’t feel obligated to buy gifts! If you really do want to, we ask that you make them as earth-kind as possible through buying non-toxic (non-plastic where possible), local, or second hand items, so that our baby has a healthier world to live in and also isn’t exposed to as many toxins. Most of all, we’re thrilled to celebrate and share this joyous experience with you, and bring this baby into such a loving community!

How This Works
Encore Baby Registry is slightly different than your average gift registry. Fulfilling a gift does not require purchasing the gift at a specific retailer or even purchasing a gift at all. Click on a registry item to see the details of whether it is being requested new, used, as a loan, or to keep. The best place to get most registry items is your local thrift store, consignment store, Craigslist, Kijiji, or your own closet. For new items, Amazon.ca or most baby supply stores are places you'll find these things. Some of the items listed are linked to Amazon.com, but it is just a way to show you what we have in mind. No need to buy it off Amazon unless that's somehow better for you. After you've decided what to give, put in the quantity you are giving in the box on the right hand side of the site, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Give Gift". This will help make sure the same gift isn't also given by someone else. Please ask the shower hosts, Max or Myriam, or the family if you have any questions about using this site or where to find a gift.
