Dear Family and Friends,

As we prepare to welcome our little sprout, baby girl Jefferys, our hearts are already blooming with gratitude for the village surrounding her.

Our baby shower on April 4th is most simply about coming together — soaking up time, laughter, and love as we celebrate this tiny seedling who will soon be in our arms. Your presence is truly the greatest gift, and nothing more is needed.

If you feel so inclined to get us a gift, we’d love to encourage you to consider sourcing it second-hand or pre-loved (a sweet idea borrowed from my friend Shalni!). As with many significant life events, furnishing our lives and homes for a new baby can easily lead to overconsumption, and one of the most meaningful gifts we can give our little sprout is a healthy planet to grow up on.

If you are a mom yourself or have a mom-friend who swears by something that didn’t make our list – we would love to know about it! You can use the button above to message Marissa to make sure we don’t already have it! We’ve already been fortunate to receive some lovely hand-me-downs from close friends, and we’re so grateful.

Some things are best bought new, and we see the value/ease in that too (we’ve included links for most items)! We also welcome alternatives, like postpartum spa days or passes to baby activity centres when our little sprout is ready to explore the world.

We are so thankful for each of you, and for the love you’re already showering on our growing family. We can’t wait to celebrate together.
