Welcome to our baby registry! Most of you know how much I love tag sale-ing and thrift & consignment stores, so in an attempt to use some of the great baby gear that is already in circulation, we are requesting mostly secondhand and hand-me-down items, or items on loan (if there are things you aren’t currently using but want to use again someday). Our Amazon registry also includes a few things that are new, mainly for safety reasons. I know this registry is a bit unusual so if you have any questions at all, please just shoot me a message! Thank you for visiting our registry page. We are very excited about the arrival of our baby girl (craziness!) and look forward to celebrating this happy event with all of you 🙂

Feel free to ignore this section but in case you’d like some further guidance, here are some hopefully helpful notes.

Things we tend to like:
– We’re big on comfort and convenience. If something is a bit worn but still functional or soft, we’ll probably be more than happy to use it.
– We’re new to this and very open to suggestion! This registry is a lot of guess work – if there’s something you loved that you don’t see on this registry, I bet we’d love it too.

Themes we tend to like: Animals, sea creatures, plants, jungle, all things outer space, under the sea, farms, rainbows, dinosaurs, gardens, sunshine, unicorns, travel, wildflowers, all things Scotland, etc.

General notes on style:
– Some favourite colours are green, blue, teal, purple and yellow, as well as general soft/ natural tones (generally not big on red unless it’s a wagon or overalls or something)
– We are not huge on especially girly items (princesses etc), though a bit of pink is grand and who doesn’t love rainbows? 🌈
– We love for clothes to be soft and ideally cute in some way, though practicality is key (ex zippers & onesies in early days are supposedly easier than buttons & sets)
– Toys are great fun, we tend to like wooden toys such as from Lovevery, Melissa & Doug, and other similar companies; Montessori is great, multi sensory, developmental, etc. Building type toys such as magna-tiles & blocks are also great. If you loved it, I’m sure we will too!
– If you have a pile of clothes from your own kids/ friends/ etc that you just want to pass on and don’t feel like sifting through it, feel free just to pass it on.
– Stuffed animals are great! If they’re clean and smell free, all are welcome 😊
