Dear Friends and Family,

Thanks for visiting our baby registry! In an attempt to escape some of the commercial baby gear frenzy and take advantage of some of the great baby gear that is already in circulation, we are requesting some used (or even handmade) items in addition to new stuff. Please see “How This Works” below for details.

And not to sound overly-granola or anything but we also don’t require fancy wrap jobs with new paper. In other words, wrapping gifts in newspaper, old paper bags, or nothing at all is totally acceptable in our house!

We are so excited for this new chapter in our lives and look forward to sharing in this adventure with all of you.

How This Works

Encore Baby Registry is slightly different than your average gift registry. Fulfilling a gift does not require purchasing the gift at a specific retailer or even purchasing a gift at all. Click on a registry item to see the details of whether it is being requested new or used (or even handmade). Some items are pretty generic and some are very specific (with brand or color preference, for example). Items can be provided as a loan or to keep so this is specified as well. The new items can mostly be found at Amazon, Target, or Babies R Us. Please don't forget to include a gift receipt for new purchases just in case we receive a duplicate or need to exchange an item. Used items can be found at a variety of places including eBay, craigslist, local mom-to-mom sales or thrift shops, or even in your own house!
