A play gym is an activity center for baby to use while lying on his or her back or tummy. Play gyms include some kind of support that holds toys over baby’s head while he or she is lying down. The toys are usually detachable so they can be used in other settings. Some play gyms also include a mat for baby to lie on while using the gym.
