“Newborn bundles” and “baby clothes bundles” are commonly found on Gumtree, ebay and Facebook marketplace. They provide a range of clothing for a fraction of the price you can find them instore AND we give these (often- cause babies grow so fast) hardly worn clothes a very happy second home. To minimise issues with our sensitive skin (Oliver and Clara both had baby eczema) Cotton is essential for baby suits and anything close fitting.

After a courtesy wash (like any baby product) the baby will not know the difference, and were saving a heap of (often pretty decent) clothes from landfill.

And it doesn’t really matter if it comes with one or two “boy” or “girl” pieces in the mix- I don’t think the baby will even notice!

Of course, if you see that new “gotta have” piece (cause who can resist some of this stuff is sooooo cute!!) go for it, but we are really just grateful for the thought and help.
